Buying

Find a product, click Buy Now or add it to your cart. Enter your shipping address and a card. Your payment is held in escrow until the box arrives sealed — funds aren't released to the seller until you confirm delivery, or 2 days after the carrier marks it delivered (unless you've opened a dispute, which holds funds until WaxDepot Support resolves it).

On any product page, click Place Bid to offer below the lowest ask. If a seller accepts your bid, your card is charged automatically. If you bid at or above the lowest ask, you'll buy instantly. Bids expire after the time you set (1-30 days).

Every order is covered by WaxDepot Buyer Protection. Your payment stays in escrow until you confirm the box arrived sealed. If something's wrong (resealed, wrong item, damaged), open a dispute within 2 days of delivery — that's the auto-release window, after which funds move to the seller. Disputes opened in time hold funds until WaxDepot Support resolves it.

Sellers have 2 business days to ship after payment clears. Most boxes arrive within 3-7 days depending on carrier and location. You'll get a notification with the tracking number when the seller ships, and another when the carrier marks it delivered. Once delivered, you have 2 days to confirm or dispute before funds auto-release to the seller.

If the package is marked delivered and you take no action, funds auto-release to the seller after 2 days. This protects sellers from buyers who never confirm but received the box fine. If something IS wrong, just open a dispute before the 2 days are up — funds stay held until WaxDepot Support resolves it.
