What can an AI assistant do on my account?
An assistant can do eleven things, and nothing else — it can't check out, list boxes, message anyone, change your settings or see your card, address or personal details.
Any key, including a look-only one
- Search the catalogue for sealed products and their slugs.
- Read a product's market: asks for sale with shipping and seller, open bids (without naming who placed them), recent sales, and your own open bids on it.
- List your bids, open or all.
- List your offers, pending or all.
- Read your watchlist, with the current ask, bid and last sale on each product.
- Add or remove a watchlist product. Watching costs nothing and commits to nothing — it only decides what you get told about.
Only a key you gave bidding permission
- Place a bid.
- Raise a bid you already have.
- Cancel a bid.
- Make an offer on one seller's listing.
- Withdraw an offer.
Offers and bids both spend money if accepted, so both are held to the same per-box cap you set when you made the key, and to your account's usual limits: $25,000 of open bids in total, a card and default shipping address on file, and no recent failed charges. A bid at or above the lowest ask is refused, because buying at the ask costs less — do that yourself on the site. An offer has to land between 50% and 150% of the asking price.
Every bid an assistant places sends you the same "Bid placed" email and notification as one you place yourself, and every change a key makes — bids, offers, even watchlist edits — is recorded. You can see each key's last use in Settings → AI assistants.
